How Many Towels Do You Need?

A room sleeps more than one person, so the planner counts guests, not beds. Hotel linen guides commonly start from three full changes of towels (one in use, one in the wash, one on the shelf) and add one more when laundry goes off site. Read how it works in How Many Towels Does a Hotel Need?

Questions
How many towels does a hotel or motel need?
It depends on guests, not just rooms. A double room sleeps two, so it needs two bath towels at a time. Multiply by the full changes you hold (commonly three, or four with an outside laundry) and add a small reserve for wear.
Does the planner include pool and gym towels?
Yes. Enter how many you need at one time under Fine tune. They are counted on top of room towels with the same full-change rule.
