These six habits come from the care card for our Pinstripe towel. They suit most cotton towels, but always follow the care label on your own.
Six Habits
- 1Wash before first use. It rinses off finishing from the factory and helps the towel drink water.
- 2Wash at 40 degrees C with mild liquid detergent, not hot. Gentle cycles are kind to cotton fibres.
- 3Skip fabric softener. Softener can coat the fibres and make towels less absorbent.
- 4No bleach. Bleach can weaken the fibres.
- 5Tumble dry low or dry in shade. Strong heat and sun can wear fibres and fade colour.
- 6Snip loose loops, never pull. Pulling a loop can unravel the pile around it.
